    Greetings,

    Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers No. (KG / 1856) and the date (9/24/1441) referred to in the General Authority for Ports Circular No. (1/60/20791) and the date (20/9/1441), And it is found in the circular issued by the Authority No. (49) for the year 2020  regarding the fifteenth of the marine agents ’regulation (working hours) which states (the working hours are in line with the official working hours of the bodies associated with the performance of his business, and the agent is obligated to work on Saturdays Official holidays to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), Whereas, the General Authority for Ports emphasizes adherence to what is stated in the regulations of maritime agents according to the following:​

    1/The working hours should be compatible with the work hours of the relevant authorities.

    2/Make the office hours for your offices clearly visible to all beneficiaries, while ensuring that the actual times of customer service in the counters are identical to the office hours.

    3/Emphasizing the receipt and delivery of containers in storage spaces, while emphasizing the responsibility of agents on behalf of the shipping line, by providing storage yards or contracting with operators of storage yards covering the volume of work and enabling you to ensure continuity of handling without any delay, overcrowding or disruption to the logistics process.
